The 2023 Taiwan PGA Tour Central Region Year-End Appreciation Banquet was held yesterday at the Din Yue Restaurant in Taichung, with over 50 sponsors and distinguished guests in attendance. TPGA Chairman Rong-Hshing Chen extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the corporate sponsors, golf courses, and individuals from the central region for their support. During the banquet, a video was shown highlighting the 2023 Taiwan Tour Player Awards Ceremony, which recognized outstanding achievements, including the TPGA Taiwan Tour, ThreeBond TPGA Challenge Tour, and the Zhao Xie Deng-Feng Tour. Awards for the Annual Money Leader, the Media Panel’s Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and the Top 10 Shots of the Taiwan Tour were also presented. Additionally, the Lifetime Contribution Award was presented to Mercuries & Associates Holding, Ltd. Honorary Chairman Weng Zhao Xie, and the In Memoriam Contribution Award was posthumously awarded to former Sun Flower Cotton Industry Chairman Shih Chun-Yi.

Jiang Qinglong, Chairman of HSINFU International Development and a shareholder of Din Yue Restaurant, has pledged to sponsor the ThreeBond Din Yue Restaurant Challenge this year after co-sponsoring a challenge event for the first time last year. Additionally, Zhang Lin-Gui, Chairman of GIANT Heavy Machinery Service, will be sponsoring the ThreeBond GIANT Challenge for the first time this year. Furthermore, Chairman Jiang not only sponsored the costs for this year’s Central Region Appreciation Banquet but has also committed to covering the expenses for the year-end banquets in the Central Region for the next three years.
