The seventh leg of the CHAU-SHI Series Tour, the Giant Open, with a total prize pool of NT$3 million, will be held from December 3 to 6 at the Tsai Hsing Elite Club. The tournament will feature a 72-hole, four-round competition with 114 players from 5 countries, including 104 professional golfers and 10 amateur players. The champion will receive a prize of NT$500,000. This marks the first time that Giant Heavy Machinery Service Corporation has sponsored a single event in the TPGA Tour. Taiwanese golfer WANG WEI HSUAN is aiming for his third win of the year on the Taiwan Tour.
